Christie has been highly recognized throughout his career, including listings in The Legal 500 Canada, The Best Lawyers in Canada©, and is a fellow in the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers. He serves as co-chair of the Advisory Board at the Centre for Law in the Contemporary Workplace (CLCW) at Queen’s University, Faculty of Law. In 2020, Christie was recognized for his lifetime contributions to the legal profession and, in particular, labour and employment law in Canada, by the Queen’s University Alumni Association with their award of highest honour, the Alumni Achievement Award.
