Perry Yung

Perry Yung is a labour and employment lawyer at Ogletree Deakins’ Toronto office. He is called to the bar in Nova Scotia. Perry is committed to assisting companies on a wide range of workplace matters, including severance disputes, human rights claims, labour relation disputes, and employment standards issues.

Before joining Ogletree Deakins, Perry practiced with a prestigious full-service firm in Halifax, Nova Scotia, where he practiced Labour & Employment and Civil Litigation. He adeptly represented both employers and employees across a broad spectrum of Labour and Employment issues. His advocacy experience spans multiple levels of courts and tribunals, including the Supreme Court of Nova Scotia, the Nova Scotia Labour Board, and the Canada Industrial Relations Board.

Perry holds a Juris Doctor and a Certificate in Business Law from Dalhousie University. During his third year of law school, he completed a Public Law Placement with the Department of Justice/Office of Legislative Counsel.

In his free time, Perry enjoys practicing Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and is an enthusiastic supporter of the San Francisco 49ers, San Francisco Giants, and New York Rangers.
